Alpine Slide

This Happened a while ago but I have now just taken the time to post these pics.  This was a fun activity with the family before Stephanie moved to Maui.

Nothin' but classic alpine slide riding.  We hadn't been forever, so it brought back lots of memories of the old days of flooring the handle bar all the way - full throttle and almost tipping over on the big curves.  Sometimes the boys would get going too fast and crash and burn!  It was loads of fun racing each other down to the bottom and praying the whole time that you wouldn't over do it and regret it.  I was riding with Eleanore this trip so I was way more cautious.  It was so much fun!

Here are a pictures of the riders.  I love the picture of Jen - it looks like she is screaming at the top of her lungs - out of fright or excitement - I don't know! :)

The pure joy on Eleanore's face in this picture makes me want to do it again, over and over just to preserve that joy.  It just makes me giggle to look at that picture.  I think she liked the alpine slide - a lot! 

Grandma K joined us but did not actually ride the slide.  She got to watch us all come down.  We love you grandma K!
